21 and 22nd bird flu died confirmed in Indonesia - 11 march 2006 - 16:21

INDONESIA - Indonesian authorities announced on Friday that two children, a boy and a girl, three-year-old respectively and of 12 years succumbed to the virus H5N1 of the bird flu, what hits carrying in 22 the number of lethal cases taken a census in Indonesia. For the time being the WHO confirmed only one of both cases. A child old of three years succumbed on February 28th of this year to the virus of the bird flu in the centre of the Indonesian island of Popular dance, according to the WHO. It is about the 21th victim of the bird flu in Indonesia. The child died in the city of Semarang, specified the worldwide Organization of the health (WHO), naming the results of analyses accomplished by the UN. The child would have been in contact with contaminated chickens, according to Hariadi Wibisono, a representative for the Ministry of Health.
